Sophia Pan is an English PhD candidate at the University of Florida. Her research lies in Asian American children’s literature and young adult comics, with a focus on graphic memoirs. She examines how these works explore memory, displacement, queerness, and intergenerational identity while challenging U.S.-centric narratives and reimagining collective histories.
